Open Pedagogy Workshop
Join us for a workshop about Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Pedagogy. Using OER in your class means more than just saving your student's money, they can also help you try new styles of pedagogy and increase student engagement. In this workshop, we'll talk about what we mean by "open pedagogy," look at some examples of it in practice, and brainstorm some ways that you can use OER to open up your classroom and your teaching.
Andrew McKinney is the OER Coordinator for the Office of Library Services at CUNY Central. He has a PhD in Sociology from the CUNY Graduate Center and has worked all over CUNY for the last 10 years.
